Video Editor and Motion graphics Designer

Description:

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our post-production team. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of storytelling, and the technical skills to bring ideas to life through video.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for ad films, documentaries, social media, YouTube, and OTT platforms.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and the creative team to understand project goals.
• Add graphics, music, sound effects, color correction, and necessary transitions.
• Ensure all video content aligns with Studio Underground’s visual standards and client expectations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in video editing.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve (bonus if you know all).
• Good understanding of storytelling, visual composition, and pacing.
• Knowledge of audio syncing, sound mixing, and basic color grading.
• Experience in editing short-form content, ad films, reels, or documentaries are preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Film Editing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in professional video editing (fresher’s with strong portfolios are welcome).
• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
